How To Deal With Stress

Hello :)
Where have I been? Well there really is no answer I just forgot sorry:( So lets just jump right in.

As I am a teenager and we have all these exams and horrible things going on in our life's its very easy to get stressed. Teenagers, like adults, may experience stress everyday. Most teens experience more stress when:
  • Changes to the body occur.
  • Friendships
  • Relationships
  • School/exams.
  • Pressure from your parent's.
  • And a lot more...

We become overloaded with stress on a day today basis. Its not fun and it does make you tired. If your like me you sometimes have those days when you come home and break down into tears. Here are just a few quotes that do really mean something to me:

I hope you guys have enjoyed this little post and if your ever looking for something to cheer you up.
If your having a downer of a day I always suggest a good old look through Sprinkle Of Glitter and Zoella on you tube as they always make me chuckle :)

Friends

Hello :)
This is quite a personal one but I want to talk about one of my closest friend Jess as she have given me so much support over the years.

Jess is one of my closest friends, she is one of those special people in life that are very rare, and when you find them, you must embrace and cherish them. She is kind, caring, selfless and I know, that should I call her at 3am and say, something bad has happened can you talk to me (that's only if she wakes up) she will as she's always there for you 24/7.

She is also brilliantly stunning (even thought she doesn't think it.) She always has a smile on her face even when things are not going her way. She always lets you see the good in your self .
She's sooo stunning!!!!

She also makes me feel lovely physically. Don't worry every one not like that you filthy little people. Jess helps me feel comfy with my tiny little, petite body as she is a friend who makes you feel special in your own skin (as lady gaga would say 'we were born this way'.)

When we are together, I know I will have a brilliant time. Sure, there will be moments when we both sit in silence, gormlessly starring at the our phones but I can guarantee there will also be times when we laugh so hard that I think I might throw up and roll on the floor in it.
Sure we have had our ups and downs but so does everyone and I'm glad to call her a really close friend and I know she will always be there rain or shin as she is the best of eggs.

Any way I hope you all enjoyed this blog and I hope you all have a friend as special as jess.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream Review

Hello :)
With the seasons changing slowly and the weather getting warmer many of us will be turning to a lighter base for the harsh rays of the summers heat.

Now Spring is finally here and the temperature hopefully climbs higher it's always a good idea to give our skin a break from the heavy foundations we cake it with in the Winter. I'm a big fan of a good tinted moisturiser all year round, as I'm not a big fan of foundation anyway. Sometimes when my skin is in good condition I just puff on some powder as it gives my face a healthy look. As we all no Boots is having a '3 for 2' offer and it sucked me in, I new I wanted a BB cream so I went around the store testing all the BB creams on the back of my hand (you can imagine the state of that afterwards) so I grabbed this BB cream off the shelf, eager to try it after all the hype over it.

In case you weren't away BB basically stands for 'Beauty Balm'. Its basically a moisturiser blended with SPF and foundation to give a light coverage. This particular product from Maybelline claims to have 8 benefits in 1 cream, quite a lot to live up to if you ask me but I've been pleasantly surprised. This product comes in four 'creamy' shades and includes these 8 benefits:

• Imperfections look blurred
• A natural looking glow
• Fresh feel
• Compliments skin tone
• Skin looks smooth
• Hydrates
• Protects with SPF 30
• Oil free, non greasy

It certainly compliments my light skin tone, hydrates and looks fresh and natural and it doesn't dry up at all. It doesn't leave my skin feeling weighed down, in fact this feels like a light moisturiser which I'd expect as this is a water based cream so it's perfect for those who have an oily skin type. Obviously it has a very light coverage but it would not blur any redness and it would lightly cover acne scarring. You also have the added benefit of SPF 30 which means you wont end up looking like a lobster from the suns harsh full rays.

I'd certainly recommend this BB cream to anyone looking for a light coverage and that will hydrate at the same time with a natural, fresh finish to the skin. If I was to give it any criticism I would say it needs a longer lasting power for those long summer days.

This product usually retails for around £7.99 so price wise it's similar to that of a drugstore foundation this in my opinion isn't too bad for such an impressive product. I hope this has helped you and I hope you give it ago.

P.S. I apply this BB Cream with my fingers as I think it gives me a even coverage. I then add a light layer of mineralised setting powder to give it that finished look.

Shower Routine

Hello :)
Today I'm going to tell you what products I use in the shower. I hope this can give you some tips and ideas.

1. I first shampoo with head and shoulders dry scalp 2 in 1. I love the smell of this shampoo I think it smells of apples and it always leaves my hair feeling moisturised and free.

2. I then condition my hair with herbal essences volume uplift conditioner. I don't think that it gives volume to my hair but it does keep my hair silky and soft.

3. Next I wash my body with snow fairy from lush. I no that its a Christmas sent but it smells soooooo good and I use it all year round.

4. Afterwards I wash my face with clean and clear daily wash. I love this daily wash because the beads in it really scrub out all the dirt and bacteria.

5. When I have finished I then moisturise my body with dove summer glow self tanning lotion. I love this it really does give you a glow and it is really moisturising and nourishing.

I hope this has given you some good tips and ideas and ill speak to you soon.

Skincare And Treatment

Hello :)
The key to healthy, clear skin is a good skin routine.

1- Remove all makeup using either liquid makeup remover or makeup wipes. I use Simple makeup remover wipes, I use them for my eyes, face and neck. (The Simple range can be purchased in any major drugstore.)
2- Cleansing and Toning. This is a vital part in the skin care routine as although many people do not cleanse and tone their skin, it's important that you do. Cleansers and Toners can be purchased in any brand but, like most skin products, I prefer to use the Boots tea tree collection.Using cotton wool, apply the cleanser to your face and neck, you'll be surprised at the result and it will make you realise just how dirty skin gets even when you use makeup remover.

3- This is optional. I find that using a face mask once or twice a week cleans your pores and brings out all the bad bacteria that you don't want. I use the boots tea tree peel of face mask it really cleans out all of the dirt.

4- MOISTURISE! This is the most important factor in the routine. You have to moisturise. Using moisturiser at least twice a day will keep your skin healthy and hydrated and will prevent your skin from flaking, going powdery and if you wear foundation it will give a smoother effect. For those of you who do wear skin makeup, you have to moisturise regularly as foundations and powders are prone to drying out skin so it is important that you keep your skin hydrated. I use Garnier moisture match Moisturiser but moisturisers can be purchased from a wide variety of brands in any drugstores/supermarkets.

5- Spot treatment. For years I had been hunting down a good spot treatment but last year I finally found one! Boots Night treatment, is a clearing gel which works wonders at reducing redness and visibility of acne and occasional spots. Using tubes or bottled spot gels and creams are much better than using wands or sticks. Wands and sticks = more spots. Using a wand spreads the bacteria around your skin, causing the issue to escalate which is the opposite of what should happen. I highly recommend not to use wands or sticks if you suffer from skin problems as they will NOT work!

I hope this has helped you and if you have anything that helps you please let me no in the comments below.

How To Deal With Annoying Siblings!

Hello :)
Do you ever wish that you were a only sibling? Yea so does your brother or sister. I have a younger sister and some days I just want to kill her so here are some ways to cope with that:

You will need:
  • Imagination.
  • self control (it can be hard sometimes.)
  • And a little kindness.
Step 1: Figure out what it really is that your sibling does to annoy you, and then come up with a plan to solve it.
Tip: Don't be mean your younger sibling looks up to you so set a good example, even if you feel like yelling.

Step 2: Try ignoring the little pest, younger siblings mainly annoy you to get attention. If you ignore them enough they will soon get board.
Tip: Don't put your hands over your ears as negative attention is still attention.

Step 3: Ask your parent's for help they can come up with a suitable plan to get them too stop.

I hope this will help you and I no how difficult it is I have one of the most annoying sisters on the earth she's just all in your face 24/7 and she just does anything to wind you up.
